To the middle of nowhere, Kentucky. About 30 minutes from my house.
Love it.

Where in the middle of nowhere would that be? My sister lives in Morehead. She used to live in Blaine. Now THAT was fucking nowhere.

This is a place in Ohio County called “Magan.” Close to a used-to-be town called “Adaburg”, which is where my grandmother was born.

It’s obviously not the middle of nowhere when the road is paved. Or maybe my perspective is just warped....

What’s funny is another road I went on turned to gravel-ish shortly after that.

A fun drive is great enjoyment and relaxation.

Just eyeballing Google Maps, Magan KY doesn’t look hugely different from the area I used to live in. A few years ago Garmin GPS still couldn’t quite find that house. It would get you to the gravel road it was on, but was way off on the driveway . And the house is (deliberately) not visible from the road.
